The One Quality role works within a Multi Country Organization (MCO - a geographic grouping of UL operating companies) reporting to the Sourcing Unit Quality Lead. Sourcing Unit is the manufacturing segment of the Quality organization. Role is focused on quality in the operations, implementing, executing, improving, ensuring compliance to Unilever and regulatory standards, and providing technical quality support to customers, Brand Building and local Brand Development for in market quality issues, care line support (complaint reporting and analysis), on-shelf assessments/improvements and incident/issue management. The Sourcing Unit team is directly responsible for maintaining Quality Management system (QMS) compliance in manufacturing, distribution and repack operations, and support QMS compliance in UL sites, 3PM and warehouses as needed to meet marketplace needs. This includes participation on focused improvement teams in the relevant category or for the relevant customer.

Duties and Responsibilities

Supports deployment of Unilever Quality strategy, governance and goals through MCO specific projects and targets. Supports the development of Quality links to MCO and One Quality Business Strategy
Supports local market place product quality incident management and consequent actions. Assists Incident management reporting, including full product reconciliation, per Unilever Incident Management requirements.
Supports development and efforts to provide Quality improvement from Sourcing site - DC to - secondary & tertiary transport and storage, distributors, concessionaires, based on the monitoring and manipulation of supply chain logistic and market place data from multiple channels (e.g. consumer & customer care lines, on-shelf inspections, sourcing, warehouse & re-packer data, employee observations, monthly KPI reporting, etc.)
Supports resolution of quality issues with customers within MCO geography. Partners with CD, Customer Service, associated Quality, factory or warehouse team and takes proactive actions where needed.
Supports MCO interface with Consumer / Customer care lines with feedback data to business teams. Prepares monthly reports to MCO by segment as defined locally and to global Quality excellence.
Supports regular market place on-shelf product assessments are carried out (CRQS evaluations), data is analyzed and improvement projects are activated and followed up
Contributes to Quality improvement projects with the MCO for business complaints, cold chain and on-shelf CRQS improvement
Participates in communication of local regulatory requirements and changes in partnership with the local Legal department, regulatory affairs (R&D) and other teams. Supports work with Technical Quality to ensure compliance at manufacturing sites and with Logistics Quality to ensure compliance in warehousing & logistics for MCO
Supports logistic quality improvements related to import / export issues that have been raised.
Supports verification of ongoing compliance to UL Quality Management Standards in third party re-packers and assemblers, e.g. through communications, self-assessment activities, KPI monitoring, technical visits, etc.
Participates in Quality Expert interventions (e.g. Operational Quality Reviews, HACCP workshops, Training events, etc.)
Assists in building Quality talent in MCO through training warehouse & re-packer data, employee observations, etc.)
What You’ll Need to Success

University degree in technical discipline or general sciences. Includes Supply Chain management.
Logistics or Customer Service experience is a plus
Experience in SAP , SAP QM systems and other programs essential for Quality analysis such as Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Visio, etc. and warehouse traceability systems is a plus.
