Key Career Highlights - Actions, Results

• Built Tyco’s marketing services for the Latin America & Brazil region from the ground up. My exceptional leadership skills helped to lead cross-functional teams and agencies, as well as hire the right team members. Played a crucial role in launching and positioning products and brands in local markets, also creating strong relationships with regional trade media. Planned, developed, and launched the company’s first B2C digital media campaign. My efforts contributed to the company’s ongoing annual double-digit region growth. Created repeatable processes and vendor partnerships to produce marketing collateral locally in multiple countries, improving quality, timing and costs.
• Managed the Scotiabank International Media account for seven years. During this time, built a team of three people, developed a database with 200+ local and regional media outlets in the Caribbean and Latin America, and delivered over 30% in annual savings. My contributions led to higher exposure and added value for the bank, along with an increase in brand awareness in the region. Also, helped the account to grow by 450%+ for the 2004-2009 period.
