Pensions and Benefits Associate - Lawyer - Stikeman Elliott, Toronto Admin, Legal, HR & People Jobs

STIKEMAN ELLIOTT LLP, is looking for a lawyer with 2-4 years of post-call pensions/benefits experience to join our National Pensions & Benefits Group. The position is based in Toronto. We require an associate with experience working in pensions, benefits, and related matters. The successful candidate will work in a challenging environment on complex pensions and benefits mandates and the ability to handle multiple files and tight deadlines is a must.

The successful candidate will have:

a law degree and membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario;
excellent academic credentials;
a breadth and depth of technical legal knowledge, excellent business judgment and strong analytical and drafting skills;
excellent interpersonal skills and client service skills, strong initiative, and the ability to work well on a variety of teams; and
excellent organizational, project management and leadership skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
