Overview of the Expertise Listing or Job Posting
We're seeking a dynamic, strategic leader to spearhead our Partnerships and Alliances strategy, driving growth and fostering valuable connections within our ecosystem. The role will lead our stratagies across both our IT and HR lines of business and focus on maximising our existing distribution and reseller strategies while building out new avenues of partnership to drive long term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Build and Lead the Partnership Function: Take ownership of establishing and scaling the partnership function, including team hiring, engagement, and clear communication of the function's value to other departments and leadership.
Develop and Implement Partnerships Strategy: Define and execute the vision for Workleap's partnerships strategy, aligning with the company's overarching goals and objectives.
Partner Go-to-market planning: Develop GTM frameworks with partners to drive revenue for both partners and Intercom, to include account mapping, co-marketing, and other joint GTM activities.
Global Distributor Engagement: Lead negotiations and finalize formal agreements with high-value global distributors, establishing strong relationships to enhance market reach.
Partner Program Creation: Construct a comprehensive partner program catered to IT and HR audiences, facilitating engagement and mutual benefit.
Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Customer and Sales teams to identify and manage co-marketing opportunities within the Partner/Channel Network, maximizing exposure and impact.
Reporting and Goal Tracking: Provide regular updates on partnership performance and milestones in weekly meetings with the VP of Customer + Sales, ensuring alignment with set targets.
Technology Partnership Exploration: Collaborate with the Product team to identify and explore key technology partnerships that align with Workleap's product roadmap and innovation goals.
What are the newest challenges awaiting your team?
We have strong relationships with Distributors in North America and Europe. We will look to maximize these and build additional mechanisms to connect us with customers in the IT and HR space through things like partnerships with MSPs and HR Consultants.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a similar technology leadership role within a mid to large sized tech focused company (SaaS preferred);
Global knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem or within the HR Partnerships space is a strong preference
Demonstrated success in building functions or moving into new verticals
Strong people management experience
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English.
Ability to present technology concepts and strategies effectively to non-technical leaders;
Business acumen, entrepreneurial mindset and a track record of innovative thinking;
